Chain Crusher

The chain crusher is a specialized piece of equipment suitable for crushing high-moisture materials in the production of organic fertilizers and compound fertilizers. It uses a high-speed rotating rotor to drive multiple chains, impacting, shearing, and pulverizing the material. The equipment has a wide adaptability range for material moisture content and is particularly suitable for crushing sticky and moist materials such as fermented organic fertilizers, sludge, and peat. It is not prone to clogging and has a stable output. The machine has a compact structure and is easy to maintain, making it a common piece of equipment in the crushing section of organic fertilizer production lines.

Working Principle

After the material enters the crushing chamber through the feed inlet, it is thrown against the chamber wall by the centrifugal force of the high-speed rotating rotor. Multiple chains installed on the rotor continuously impact, beat, and shear the material during rotation, causing it to be repeatedly crushed by impact between the chains and the chamber wall. The crushed material is discharged through the bottom screen under the action of airflow and gravity. Material that does not reach the required fineness remains in the chamber for further crushing until it passes through the screen holes.

Equipment Composition

Casing and Crushing Chamber: Welded steel plate structure with wear-resistant liners on the inner wall, which can be quickly replaced. The machine features a split upper and lower chamber design for easy opening and maintenance.

Rotor Assembly: The main shaft is equipped with multi-layer chain hangers, with multiple alloy steel chains symmetrically suspended on each set of hangers. The chains are wear parts and can be replaced individually.

Screen: A semi-circular perforated screen plate is installed at the bottom of the crushing chamber; the aperture diameter is replaceable to control the fineness of the output material.

Transmission System: The motor drives the main shaft to rotate via a belt or coupling; the speed is rationally designed, and the torque output is sufficient.

Frame: A welded steel base supports the entire machine and absorbs operating vibrations.

Performance Characteristics

Adaptable to High Moisture Materials: It can still effectively crush sticky and moist materials with a moisture content below 40%, without easily clogging, making it suitable for fermented organic fertilizer processing.

Adjustable Crushing Fineness: By changing the screen aperture, the output fineness can be controlled to meet the raw material requirements of different granulation processes.

Anti-Clogging Design: The chain structure allows the chain to droop naturally after shutdown, preventing material adhesion and ensuring unimpeded restart.

Quick Replacement of Wear Parts: The chain is an independent unit, and each chain can be replaced individually after wear, eliminating the need for overall disassembly and repair, resulting in low maintenance costs.

Smooth and Durable Operation: The rotor has high dynamic balancing precision, resulting in low operating vibration. The cavity wall lining and screen are made of wear-resistant materials, ensuring a long service life.
