Straw Crusher
The straw crusher is in the raw material pretreatment section of the organic fertilizer production line and is a necessary processing link before straw auxiliary materials enter the fermentation process. Crop straw is an important carbon source adjustment material for organic fertilizer compost fermentation. Uncrushed long straw cannot be fully mixed with livestock and poultry manure, affecting the uniformity of fermentation and the speed of decomposition. The straw crusher cuts long straw into short pieces and crushes it to a suitable particle size, creating good conditions for subsequent ingredient mixing and trough or stack fermentation.
Crushing Process
The crushing process of straw crusher in organic fertilizer production is usually an independent pretreatment section. After the crop straw is transported from the field, it is first unbundled and spread out, and then sent to the straw crusher by the conveyor belt.
The crushed short filamentous or powdery straw materials are transported by air or belt to the auxiliary material warehouse for storage, waiting to be mixed with livestock and poultry manure according to the formula.
The crushing fineness is determined according to the requirements of the fermentation process. Tank fermentation generally requires a straw length of 3-8 cm, while stack fermentation can be slightly thicker. The crushed straw can also be directly mixed with manure and put into troughs for stacking.
Process Advantages
After crushing, the specific surface area of the straw increases, the straw is mixed with the feces more evenly, and the fermentation heats up faster and more stably.
The length of the straw is controllable, the carbon-nitrogen ratio can be adjusted more accurately, and the fermentation effect is guaranteed.
The pretreatment section is independent, the crushed straw can be stored for later use, and production scheduling is flexible.
The crushing process only physically cuts off the organic matter composition of the straw, and the fertilizer effect is fully retained.
One crusher can serve multiple fermentation lines, resulting in high equipment utilization.
Applicable Scenarios
Organic Fertilizer Production Line Auxiliary Material Pretreatment: Crushed straw is mixed with manure as a carbon source for fermentation.
Livestock Farm Manure Treatment System: Crushed straw is used to adjust the moisture and carbon-nitrogen ratio of manure.
Feed Processing: Crushed straw is used as a raw material for roughage or feed additives.
Straw Resource Utilization Projects: Waste straw is crushed and composted for returning to the field or processed into organic fertilizer.
Biomass Energy: Crushed straw is used as biomass pellet fuel or raw material for biogas projects.
