Single Silo Single Weigh Type
The single silo single weigh dynamic automatic batching system is recognized in fertilizer industry batching sections for its stable operation, reliable metering, and ease of maintenance. Core components such as load cells, pneumatic discharge valves, and variable frequency feeding screws are all industrial-grade products, capable of withstanding the dusty and corrosive environments of fertilizer production sites. The weighing hopper is made of wear-resistant steel plate, and the sensor mounting structure is designed to prevent off-center loading, ensuring good metering accuracy over long-term use. The control system has self-diagnosis and alarm functions for easy and rapid troubleshooting. For fertilizer production lines requiring long-term stable operation and strict batching accuracy, this batching system is a durable and automated batching equipment.
Working Principle
The system operates based on dynamic weighing closed-loop control. The feeding screw of each raw material bin feeds material to the weighing hopper under the drive of a frequency converter, and the load cells output weight signals in real time. The PLC performs high-speed sampling and filtering of the signals, calculating the instantaneous feeding rate and cumulative weight. The control algorithm dynamically adjusts the feeding screw frequency based on the difference between the current weight and the target value. When the weight approaches the target value, the system automatically switches to slow mode, using a frequency converter for precise low-speed feeding. Once the target weight is reached, the screw stops, and feeding is shut off. The system allows setting tolerance ranges; if the tolerance is exceeded, an alarm or compensation is automatically triggered. The unloading process is controlled by a pneumatic valve, ensuring clean unloading without residue. The entire metering process is continuous, stable, and highly repeatable.
Performance Characteristics
Stable and Reliable Metering: Dynamic weighing with closed-loop control results in small batch-to-batch metering deviations and low nutrient fluctuations.
Strong Anti-interference Capability: Weighing signal filtering effectively suppresses the impact of vibration and shock on metering.
Long Equipment Lifespan: The feeding screw and weighing hopper are made of wear-resistant steel; sensors and valves are industrial-grade, adaptable to harsh environments.
Self-Diagnosis of Faults: The control system can monitor and alarm for sensor malfunctions, feeding blockages, valve failures, etc.
User-Friendly Interface: The touchscreen displays the status of each bin, real-time weight, and cumulative output; parameter modification is convenient.
Low Maintenance Costs: Simple structure, few vulnerable parts; daily maintenance only requires lubrication and cleaning.
Maintenance Methods
Daily check for residual material adhering to the weighing hopper and feeding screw; clean dust from sensor installation locations. Check the pneumatic unloading valve for smooth operation and for air leaks in the cylinder.
Check the wear of the feeding auger blades weekly; replace them if excessive wear affects feeding accuracy.
Conduct monthly inspections of auxiliary components such as the silo vibrator and inverter cooling fan.
Periodically calibrate the weighing sensor using standard weights for off-center loading and linearity to ensure accurate measurement.
During annual overhauls, inspect the steel platform and silo welds, and replace worn auger blades, seals, and pneumatic components. Keep the control cabinet clean and regularly remove dust to prevent electrical short circuits.
