- Cleaning work
After each use, the residual materials in the flat die granulator should be thoroughly removed, especially on the surface of the flat die and around the pressure roller. To prevent the material from drying and agglomerating and affecting the quality and efficiency of the next granulation.
- Lubrication work
There are multiple moving parts in the flat die granulator, such as the bearings of the pressure roller. Regularly adding an appropriate amount of lubricant to these parts can reduce friction, reduce the degree of wear, and extend the service life of the parts. At the same time, reduce the noise during equipment operation and improve production stability.
- Check the fastening situation
Due to the vibration of the equipment during operation, the screws, nuts and other connectors may become loose. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly check whether the connection of the flat die, pressure roller, transmission parts, etc. is firm. If looseness is found, it should be tightened in time to avoid displacement of the parts during operation, affecting the uniformity of granulation and the safety of the equipment.
- Pay attention to the wear and tear
The flat die and the roller are the key parts of the flat die granulator. As the use time increases, they will gradually wear out. Once excessive wear is found, they should be replaced in time, otherwise it will affect the pelletizing effect, resulting in poor pellet forming or reduced production efficiency.
- Electrical system inspection
Check whether the wires are damaged and the joints are loose. Ensure that the electrical control system works normally, ensure the safe operation of the equipment, and avoid problems such as production interruption caused by electrical failure.
- Mold running-in
A new flat die granulator or after replacing the mold must be ground before use. Because there will be more burrs on the inner hole and surface of the new mold, it directly affects the pelletizing effect and output.
- Work before and after shutdown
When the material pressing is about to end, oil can be put into the flat die granulator, and the machine can be shut down after pressing for about one minute. The main function is to fill the die hole with oil to prevent the grinding disc from being blocked, so that the machine can be directly started for production next time, which not only maintains the mold but also saves working hours. After shutdown, loosen the pressure wheel adjustment screw and clean up the residual material.
