Two crawler-type compost turning machines shipped after passing customer acceptance
Recently, two of our 2.5-meter crawler-type compost turning machines passed a remote video acceptance inspection at our factory and were subsequently loaded into containers for shipment to Malaysia. This marks the client’s second purchase of this specific model; the acceptance process was even more meticulous and efficient than the first.
During the video call, our technicians demonstrated key functions—including crawler movement, hydraulic lifting, turning-roller speed adjustment, and the emergency stop/reset mechanism—while the client simultaneously inspected the equipment nameplates, hydraulic oil level gauges, and weld quality. To accommodate the high moisture content of the materials at the client’s site, the spacing between the turning-roller tines was increased from the standard 180mm to 220mm, and wear-resistant strips were welded onto the roller surface to minimize material adhesion and wear. The crawler track width was also increased by 50mm compared to the standard model to improve traction on muddy terrain. Additionally, a detachable sun and rain canopy was installed over the operator’s seat to suit Malaysia’s rainy operating environment.
Following acceptance, the equipment underwent final processing to meet export standards: dust caps were fitted to hydraulic hose connections, engine exhaust outlets were sealed, and mud was cleaned from the tracks. The loading plan utilized the proven method from the previous shipment: the two units were loaded into the container at a 45-degree angle, while the operator canopies were dismantled, packed in separate wooden crates, and shipped in the same container as the main units.
Regarding spare parts, a 15% surplus of wear parts—such as hydraulic filter elements, tines, and track pins—was prepared in accordance with the contract; these were packed separately and coated with anti-rust oil. The cargo has now been sealed in the container and awaits transport; the client will handle customs clearance and pickup at the destination port.
