What other options are there for a roller press granulator production line besides a fertilizer compaction machine?

A roller press granulator production line is a collaborative system. Besides the core fertilizer compaction machine, the selection of supporting equipment in each stage also determines the production line efficiency and finished product quality.

1.Raw Material Pretreatment

Raw materials need to be crushed and conveyed before entering the machine. The crushing stage can be selected according to the characteristics of the raw materials: cage crushers are suitable for dry powders such as urea and monoammonium phosphate; half-wet material crushers are suitable for wet materials; and chain crushers are selected for high-hardness lumpy raw materials. For conveying, belt conveyors are often used for short-distance transfers, while screw conveyors or bucket elevators are selected for vertical lifting or enclosed conveying.

2.Mixing and Batching

Uniform mixing of multiple raw materials is a prerequisite for nutrient balance. Double shaft paddle mixers mix quickly and with high uniformity, suitable for NPK dry powder mixing; horizontal ribbon mixers have a large loading capacity and low residue, suitable for large-batch production; vertical disc mixers have a small footprint and low investment, suitable for small and medium-sized production lines. Automatic batching scales can be used when high batching accuracy is required.

3.Post-granulation processing

Extruded semi-finished products need to be crushed and screened to obtain qualified granules. Vibrating screens have a large processing capacity and high grading efficiency, making them suitable for large-scale production lines; drum screens operate smoothly and are suitable for materials with high powder content. A rounding machine can be added when granule roundness is required.

4.Finished product packaging

Finished product metering and packaging directly affect shipping efficiency. Automatic quantitative packaging scales are widely applicable, highly accurate, and compatible with various bag sizes; valve bag packaging offers good sealing and is suitable for easily dusty materials; high-volume production lines can be equipped with automatic palletizers.
